GRASSMONSTER SAYS: Every now and then, a question emerges that ought to be thunderously shouted but instead remains a whispered riddle: Who, precisely, owns the Moon? More urgently, who profits from it? The casual citizen might think such a question preposterous – how could anyone own the Moon? And yet, in the dark corridors of corporate law and geopolitical silence, answers exist – strange, partial, and intoxicatingly conspiratorial.

The lure, of course, is Helium-3. An isotope rare on Earth but abundant on the lunar surface, Helium-3 promises clean nuclear fusion – the holy grail of energy. Just 25 metric tons of it, hypothetically, could power the United States for a year. This isn’t science fiction – this is cited in NASA’s own discussions on lunar mining. And therein lies the rub: whoever controls the Moon’s Helium-3 could theoretically control the future of terrestrial energy.

The 1962 Moon Landing – A Forgotten Chapter?

In polite academic circles, the Moon landing of 1969 is the unequivocal dawn of humankind’s celestial conquest. But in the stranger vaults of archived US government aerospace contracts, a different date appears: 1962. That year, as per several declassified Air Force documents, saw high-altitude nuclear tests (e.g., Operation Fishbowl) and what some allege was a covert landing attempt via a joint USAF/NASA payload test using advanced propulsion – long before Neil Armstrong’s boot theatrics.

Proof? There is none directly available for public scrutiny. But multiple non-mainstream researchers have pointed to the work of aerospace insider Dr. Joseph Resnik, who allegedly claimed privately in the 1970s that an American device had “touched down” on the Moon seven years earlier than the official date. 1969-A Stage for the World?

It may be heresy to suggest, but the televised Apollo 11 landing has long been subjected to intense, granular analysis. Shadows, windless flags, camera crosshairs and the peculiar clarity of the footage have become the stuff of conspiracy folklore. More sober critics focus on the sheer technical improbability: computing power less than a modern calculator, communications over a quarter-million miles, and no functional rehearsal. Somehow, it all worked flawlessly. First try.

Stanley Kubrick was not available for comment, of course, and no proven evidence ties him to any alleged staging. But the cultural question remains: Was 1969 more theatre than science? Not for the astronauts. But perhaps for the taxpayers.

The Shadow Registry – A Legal Cartel?

Now, the plot thickens. The so-called “Universal Mineral Leases Registry” (UMLR) is a little-known entity that appears to show long-standing claims by three private individuals: Dr. Joseph Resnik, Dr. Timothy O’Neill, and Guy Cramer. These figures are alleged to have secured mineral rights across significant swaths of the Moon — including 95% of the near side and 50% of the far side. Resnik, notably, was a former military scientist; O’Neill, an alleged AI researcher; and Cramer, the CEO of HyperStealth Biotechnology Corp. These three are often mentioned in connection with lunar resource rights dating back 40 years — before the Outer Space Treaty’s more stringent interpretations. Whether these claims hold legal water is another matter entirely.

The Outer Space Treaty – Toothless or Tactical?

Signed in 1967 by the US, USSR, and others, the Outer Space Treaty explicitly prohibits any sovereign nation from claiming celestial bodies. But — and this is key — it says nothing of private corporations. This legal grey zone has been exploited to its edge by entities like Moon Express, Planetary Resources, and others aiming to commercialise lunar material.

So, when people say “you can’t own the Moon”, what they mean is “your government can’t own it.” You, personally, may be able to lease a crater — provided you have the paperwork, lawyers, and interplanetary patience.

Helium-3 – The Fuel That Changes Everything

Helium-3 fusion would not only eliminate fossil fuels, but render the current geopolitics of oil and gas utterly obsolete. China has made no secret of its Helium-3 ambitions, planning robotic and manned missions to extract it by the 2030s. The US is quieter — perhaps because, if these private leases hold water, Helium-3 extraction is already underway in secret, powered by experimental reactors whose existence has never been acknowledged.

Resnik allegedly told a private group in 1991 that “the Moon is already powering things you wouldn’t believe.” [Unverified private communication, no sourceable transcript].

HAARP, Alaska, and Electromagnetic Control

Dr. Resnik and Guy Cramer have also been linked to HAARP — the High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program — based in Gakona, Alaska. Designed ostensibly to study ionospheric physics, HAARP has attracted immense suspicion from critics who believe it capable of electromagnetic warfare, weather control, or even seismic manipulation.

Could HAARP and lunar resource experiments be connected? Possibly — especially if lunar-based energy or reflectors play a role in transmission or control. However, no official link between the UMLR, HAARP, and Helium-3 has been confirmed. [Speculative connection – not proven].

Why Nobody Talks About It

So why is this not front-page news? Because it is too inconvenient. Space, for all its romanticism, is still a frontier of uncertainty, control, and imperial ambition. To openly admit that three men could own the Moon would unravel decades of treaties, funding arguments, and global political narratives.

And so we are left with silence — a silence filled with secret leases, secret landings, and a quiet war for the cleanest energy source humanity has never used.

What Now? Claim, Collapse, or Revolution?

It is time for a public reckoning. If Helium-3 is real — and it is — and if lunar resource rights are being claimed — and they are — then we must ask: who decides what is fair? Is the Moon to become the new Saudi Arabia of space, privately owned, silently harvested, and sold back to a desperate Earth?

Whatever the truth of Resnik, O’Neill, and Cramer — and whatever the reach of HAARP and the UMLR — this topic deserves not ridicule, but investigation. After all, history is written not just by victors, but by those bold enough to ask the forbidden question first.
